Eastern Kille's first whiskey was our Single Malt — released at six months old, brash and unfinished, because we believed in what it could become. Ten years later, this is the answer.

This release draws from four small barrels — three 30-gallon and one 15-gallon — all within weeks of their eighth and ninth birthdays when emptied. The grain bill was built around a specialty malt called Peanut Butter Toast, sourced from a now-closed local maltster, alongside distillers malt and cherry wood smoked malt. That combination produced a whiskey with an unusually dominant flavor identity from the start: deep chocolate, peanut butter, a whisper of smoke. What the years in small oak have finally added is balance. The barrel is present now in a way it couldn't be before — vanilla, dry wood tannin, caramel — without burying what made this whiskey worth waiting for.
